5.1. Audio Settings

Microphone & Speakers
1. The diagram in the top of the dialogue displays a live ”print” of your microphone transmission as you use it. To the right of the diagram you see a green light as your are Transmitting, and a red light, Distortion, if your voice output volume is too high.
2. Adjust the Microphone volume and the Sensitivity , so that you send without distortion when you talk. You can also choose to let VOIPlay automatically adjust volume and sensitivity as you talk by choosing the Auto box.
3. Check your own voice output by choosing ”Enable loopback ” and then adjust your Speaker volume for incoming voice.

Default transmission mode
1. Select the Transmission mode of your choice, either voice activation or Push to talk. You have the option to select 4 different push to talk buttons that you can use in different combinations in your different voice channels.
2. When you create a new voice channel, or when a connected Arena spawns a channel in your Client, the channel will have your Default transmission settings. The settings are visible directly in the channel view.
3. You can change the channel settings by joining the channel and then click on the config bar directly in the channel view.

Device Settings
1. The client is preconfigured to work with the vast majority of hardware and has already choosen your primary sound devices, but you can choose the next Driver in each menu. After you’ve selected the desired device, it will become active immediately.
